Churn Probability Score
What is a Churn Probability Score?
A Churn Probability Score (CPS) is a 0–100 numerical score estimating the likelihood that a client requires proactive advisor attention, due to behavioral drift, unusual portfolio activity, a detected mismatch between stated risk profile and observed behavior, or declining engagement signals.
CPS is not a prediction that a client will close their account. It is a behavioral attention signal for the advisor to review.
Compliance note: CPS is designed as an advisor-review signal only. It does not constitute investment advice, a prediction of client behavior, or a recommendation to take action. Advisors remain responsible for all client relationship decisions.
What feeds the score
Risk bands
0–25 · Low
No action needed. Client behavior is consistent with their profile.
26–50 · Medium
Worth noting during the next scheduled review.
51–75 · High
Advisor should review before the next client touchpoint.
76–100 · Critical
Advisor should prioritize a review in the near term.
How IFAs use it
Advisors typically use CPS to build a Monday morning list of the top-3 at-risk clients to follow up with, as part of a weekly digest summarizing book-wide attention risk, and as a pre-meeting prep flag so the advisor knows what to address before a scheduled review.
How NeuFin measures it
NeuFin computes CPS using its behavioral drift detector, risk engine, and cross-portfolio analyzer, combining the inputs above into a single score with the top contributing reasons surfaced alongside it.
